When Elle wandered off, it took Claire a moment longer before she was actually able to look away from the horror that was the stringy monstrosity. She gradually regained some semblance of brain function and began to mull around the store, making the occasional horrified face but mostly just looking interested. She grabbed a couple things from racks, categorizing them as possibilities only after she'd confirmed that, yes, they were made of more than just strategically placed strings. It wasn't really that bad; at least, not the shopping portion. Every time she tried to imagine actually putting one on for someone to see, she turned a brilliant shade of red. Once she'd picked a few out, she went to find out how the other Claire was doing.
