Elle had never really done the whole going shopping with other girls thing before. Let alone with Claire. Let alone with two Claires. Things should be interesting, to say the least. She was trying her best not to show her slight anxiety as she stood in the middle of the food court with a Slush-O, waiting for the other two girls to arrive.

They were only shopping for lingerie, right? So that would probably just mean a store or two. And if she really got annoyed she would zap them or something. She smiled, that thought comforting her a little.

She still needed nicknames so she could differentiate between the two. Right now she was leaning towards Thing #1 and Thing #2.

"Sorry." Claire apologized to Elle, and accepted other-Claire's hand in getting up. She dusted off her backside, just because it felt a little drafty, and moved so she could go stand in the mirror next to her other self. She smiled as she realized how similar their outfits were, and gave other her a big thumbs up. "Okay, so even the lingerie we pick out is similar, that's a little creepy. But awesome creepy."

She too was wondering if guys expected things when girls wore things like this. The outfit was cute, she was almost feeling obligated to buy it, but she in no way had the courage to wear it around Michael yet, especially if sex was mandatory. "Maybe I'll...wait to get it. But we do look pretty amazing, don't we?"

"Well, wearing things like this does send a certain message to a guy, but I can't see Sam pressuring you into anything." Elle's expression darkened for a moment. "And if he ever does, just let me know and I'll teach him never to make that mistake again." She brought up one of her hands, letting it crackle with electricity for effect.

She'd never admit it, but she felt a little protective of the Claires. Like an older sister. Yes, she still felt jealous and spiteful sometimes, and she figured she probably always would to a certain degree, but she didn't really hate them. She even kind of liked their company. It was weird, okay?

Claire couldn't help but laugh at Elle's assurance -- it made her feel a lot more comfortable to joke about it like that, even if she knew Elle wasn't entirely joking. Still ...

"Sam would never do that, you're right. But, I don't want to get his hopes up or something and then just ... " Cockblock him. It seemed rude, and she's heard enough talk from football teams to know that teasing to that extent was generally frowned upon by the entire male populace. She turned to look at her other self.

"You should get it, even if you don't want to wear it soon, they might not have it by the time you actually get around to ... needing it." She put up little airquotes around 'needing it,' and smiled some. "Besides, it could be good to put on when you need to feel pretty." Because, in all honesty, Claire was positive that all girls had those moments. She took one of her hangers from the wall mount, looking over the yellow, floral-lace bustier (http://images7.yandy.com/Products/4981_Natural.jpg) for a brief moment before addressing both blondes. "You don't think this will make me look like a kid, do you?"
