Elle felt nervous, just a little bit as she waited inside of the club, looking around for Peter. She’d be in enough trouble with Daddy for sneaking out, even more so if he knew she was coming out to meet up with a boy. But Daddy wasn’t going to find out. So it would be fine. She had even dressed up for the occasion. Her hair was slightly curled and hung down her back simply, though it was so warm inside the club, she almost wished she had thought to put it up. Too late now. But she couldn’t really complain, one way or another. After all, it wasn’t like she got to go outside with people her age very often. More often than not, she spent her time with the other people working in the Company, and most of them were way old and boring.

As she waited for her companion to arrive she made her way to the bar to order herself a strawberry daiquiri. Not as good as Slush-O would be, but still pretty tasty. She liked those frozen fruity girly drinks the best. Not that she’s tried much alcohol really, but from the little she has, she’s found a preference for that.

Peter laughed a little and asked the bartender for a refill when he came back. "Thanks. Glad you think so," he said. Then he looked over toward the people on the floor and took a swallow of his refilled drink for good measure. "Do you dance? Or.. do you want to watch me attempt to dance with you?"

"I've danced once or twice," She replied with a smile, taking another drink from her glass. "I think I could do it again, with you." After all, it would be pretty silly to come to a club and not dance at least a little bit, she supposed.

He held his hand out to her with a pleased smile, motioning with his head toward the people on the floor. "Come on, it'll be fun."

She giggled a little at his insistence, taking his hand. "Alright, but if it's not fun, I'll be holding it against you," She teased, following him out onto the dance floor.

"Figured you would," he said with a smirk as they walked out into the crowd of people. He felt awkward about this stuff sometimes, just like he'd look like an idiot without knowing it because it wasn't something he did on a regular basis. At least he had a good sense of rhythm.

"Tell me about the places you've gone other times you've snuck out."

"Well, once, I went to this bar, and it was this really skeevy sort of place, I mean, the guys there were all really gross," She wrinkled her nose a little at the memory. "And they thought that just because I was this tiny girl, that I couldn't protect myself from their advances." A proud smirk spread across her lips. "But I showed them."

He laughed softly. "Yeah.. those places aren't too cool. What did you do to them, shoot them with your sparks or whatever? Did you light their pants on fire?"

Elle laughed loudly at that. "No, but I should have lit their pants on fire. That would have really shown them. But yeah, I did shock them pretty badly."

"It sounds like they deserved it. But yeah, you should have lit their pants on fire." He paused for a moment. "That's not an invitation to do that to me, by the way."

"Well then, don't give me any reason to light your pants on fire, Peter," She teased with another playful smile.

She was having a good time. Probably the nicest she's had in a while.

"I really don't plan on it. That's one experience I can live without," he said with an amused smile. These things that people told Elle about herself...they obviously weren't true. He could just tell.

"Well that's good. I suppose I'll have to find someone else to burn the pants off," she laughed in an amusement. And she was only half joking. Burning someone's pants off did sound like alot of fun.

"Is that a regular thing for you? Do you like tormenting other people for amusement? Like shocking them?" he asked, still amused by it too.

"Would you think I'm weird if I said yes?" She asked curiously. Because she did find it pretty amusing to shock and torment people, but most people didn't take well to that. She had been called a sadist among other things for her weird taste in "fun."

"Not that weird I guess. It would be kind of funny to just shock someone while walking by. Like it would be funny to be invisible and run into people. As long as it doesn't actually hurt them."

Elle reached out to pat him reassuringly on the shoulder, offering another smile. "I only hurt them if they really deserve it." Of course, her definition of really deserved it probably varied from alot of people's, but oh well.

He was mildly suspicious of the comment, and well.. the shoulder pat too, actually he thought she was going to shock him too. But she didn't.

"How long have you been able to do that? Create your own electricity?"

Well, she couldn't resist discharging a small shock as she pulled her hand away again. Old habits die hard, and all that.

She paused for a moment at his question, thinking about it before answering. "Since I was about six. I can't really remember when I couldn't create it, to be honest."

He jumped a little, not expecting the little shock, and he reached up to rub his shoulder. "Ow.. not fair, Elle. I can't get you back," he said.

"But that's cool, like it's so normal for you but completely unusual to everyone else."

"I never said I was fair," She giggled as she watched him jump. Which made the action worth it even more.

"Exactly. Lots of people wait their whole lives to be special, but I always have been"
