Elle felt nervous, just a little bit as she waited inside of the club, looking around for Peter. She’d be in enough trouble with Daddy for sneaking out, even more so if he knew she was coming out to meet up with a boy. But Daddy wasn’t going to find out. So it would be fine. She had even dressed up for the occasion. Her hair was slightly curled and hung down her back simply, though it was so warm inside the club, she almost wished she had thought to put it up. Too late now. But she couldn’t really complain, one way or another. After all, it wasn’t like she got to go outside with people her age very often. More often than not, she spent her time with the other people working in the Company, and most of them were way old and boring.

As she waited for her companion to arrive she made her way to the bar to order herself a strawberry daiquiri. Not as good as Slush-O would be, but still pretty tasty. She liked those frozen fruity girly drinks the best. Not that she’s tried much alcohol really, but from the little she has, she’s found a preference for that.

"You don't look too bad yourself there, Petey." Elle beamed at the compliment, preening just a little inside. She always liked hearing that she looked pretty. It's not like it was a compliment she heard at the Company very often. (Well, some of the prisoners there told her she was pretty, but it was usually in a pretty skeevy manner, so that totally didn't count).

"I'm getting pretty good at sneaking out," She chirped with a smile at him. "And as long as I get back before the sun rises, I should be fine," she shrugged her shoulders, taking a long drink from her glass. If Daddy discovered she was out, he'd probably just call her cell and demand her to come back. It wouldn't be a huge ordeal, though it would be rather annoying. She hoped it didn't come to that.

"I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't get in trouble or something," he said, picking up his drink and sipping it. "Nathan used to get in so much trouble from Dad for sneaking out when I was a kid. Well, when he got caught. I'd hate it if you got in trouble because of me or something."

[identity profile] blueshocks.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, you don't need to feel guilty or anything like that," She smirked a little playfully. "I would have snuck out whether with or without you, so at least this way, I have some company to enjoy the evening with, right?"

[identity profile] lifetimedreamer.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
He smiled again. "Right. I don't even really go out unless I have someone to go with. It's boring to go out by yourself."

He turned to look over at the people dancing to the loud, thumping music. Peter was more of a quiet evening sort of guy, but getting out sometimes was cool, especially with a rough week when he just wanted to cut loose. "How have you been? Anything exciting happen?"

"It's true, it's always much more fun to have someone to come out with," She mused with another smile before taking another drink. Not that she really got out enough to know one way or another.

It was fun being someplace so loud and exciting though. She was used to the Company, which tended to be quiet and boring. "I've been pretty good," She chirped. She didn't want to think about the mission she messed up on earlier in the week, so she didn't mention it. "Nothing exciting has happened yet, though."

"That's not necessarily a bad thing," he said, and took another swallow of his drink. "Have you ever been here before?"

[identity profile] blueshocks.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
"Nope, I've never been to a club like this before," She mused, looking around the place briefly before looking back to Peter. "I'm a little sheltered, you could say."

"With the lengths you have to go to with sneaking out... I'll say," he said with a slight teasing grin. "Where do you normally go when you sneak out? Or do you just.. go places?"

[identity profile] blueshocks.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't really normally plan on a place to go ahead of time," She admitted with a small laugh. "I just go where the wind takes me, for the most part. It's more fun that way, sometimes."

[identity profile] lifetimedreamer.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, you can discover a lot of cool places that way. Why can't you go out on your own, why are you kept inside or whatever so much?" he asked curiously. He didn't really know that much about Elle, except that her Dad was kind of a jerk... like his was too.

"They say I'm dangerous," She replied in a flippant voice, downing the rest of her drink at that. She doesn't mention the fact that she was once diagnosed as a sociopath. She doubted that would help her win any friend points.

[identity profile] lifetimedreamer.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
He looked back at her for a moment, not quite sure if she was joking or telling the truth. And he wasn't sure if he cared if she was telling the truth, which was a rather strange position to be in.

"They seriously told you that to keep you inside?" he asked with a frown.

[identity profile] blueshocks.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
Sadly, she wasn't joking. They really did tell her things like that. Her father and the doctors he had evaluate her. "Among other things," She replied vaguely before turning to the bar to order herself another drink.

[identity profile] lifetimedreamer.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
"That's a horrible thing for them to say.." he said, shaking his head and then finishing off his drink too. "The worst I got was that I had a very active imagination, which just meant they wanted me to grow up."

[identity profile] blueshocks.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm used to it," She shrugged her shoulders with a shrug. And she was. She had been called a sociopath, a sadist, a bitch and alot of other things. She never even got the chance to try to be normal.

Which was one of many reasons she had taken to sneaking out when she could.

"If um it means anything, I think you're pretty cool," he offered with a small smile. He did too, Elle was unusual, but he really did like her. She was just so much more real than most people it seemed like, who put on faces just to live in the world and Elle didn't do that, she was just...herself. He appreciated people like that. They were the people who became his good friends.

[identity profile] blueshocks.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
Elle gave him a broad, genuine smile at that. She wasn't used to someone just being nice to her without wanting something from her. It was nice. "Thanks," She laughed, taking a sip of her new drink. "I think I'm pretty damn cool too, if i do say so myself." She paused for a moment before giving him a teasing grin. "And you're alright, too"
