Begrudgingly, Claire allowed them to goad her inside, though she visibly tensed up, almost like she was afraid to brush the racks of 'clothes' -- though they were hardly serving that purpose -- as she walked through. She looked back over her shoulder to address Elle.
"I'm not sure I'd want to wear it again, even if you did get it cleaned. That would just be a little weird." She paused for a brief moment, considering this assertion. It wouldn't be that weird, as long as it was cleaned, right? She gave Elle a conflicted look, then finally nodded. "Okay, fine. I guess you can borrow it," she decided finally, sending a skittish look in the other Claire's direction that said 'please tell me I didn't just agree to that.' Distracted by trying to get this across wordlessly to her other self, she walked right into a rack of garters and knocked herself onto her butt.
