She came back with a lacy black number (http://images5.yandy.com/Products/Satin-and-Chiffon-Bustier-Set-with-Sequin-Lace.jpg) with a slight scoop neck, holding it up to herself and successfully interrupting their conversation.
"You don't think this would make my boobs look even smaller than they are, do you? I really like the lace." The goal here was not at all to actually pick out an outfit, but rather to prove that she could act like an adult about this. Hopefully the conversation would be a short 'yes' or 'no,' though, because Claire wasn't sure she could go on about it further.
