She was glad when Sylar had suggested they stopped working for the Petrellis (they were lying to him anyways) and take matters into their own hands. Playing the good girl had never sat with her well, not even when she was working for her Daddy. And Daddy was dead now, so why follow someone else's orders? It was boring and useless, and she was glad to be done with all that.
They could do whatever they wanted, take whatever they wanted now, and no one could stop them. It was more than just a little exciting. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this alive, this free. Of course, people would try to stop them, but that's why they had chosen their first victim so carefully. Jeremy Greer was a young boy Glasses had bagged and tagged for the Company a few years ago. More importantly, he was a healer. Sylar was already untouchable. Once they got this power, she would be too.
"So have you missed it, killing?" She asks casually as she shifted the gear of the car and pulled off the highway. It still seemed strange to her that they were actually continuing their relationship, starting a new life together, so to speak. She had been afraid that time in the Canfield home had just been a fluke, but apparently it hadn't.
